New Construction | Fee ScheduleThe purpose of this information is to acquaint you, our customer-owners, with the PUD's policy regarding charges for primary distribution line extension and service installation. The following is a general summary only. You are encouraged to consult the Engineering Department concerning charges for your specific project. The cost of line extensions away from existing improved public roads is borne by the customer. Charges for the primary and secondary cable system are based on the estimated cost of the installation. Charges include the cost of labor, transportation, material, overheads and other customary costs included in construction. The installed cost of the transformer(s), services and meters is deducted. In the case of facilities installed for temporary use, the customer pays the estimated cost of line removal as well as installation. The line extension fee is required before PUD construction crews are scheduled. Service FeesThis is the revised service fee schedule that Franklin PUD uses and is a template for typical services. Altered services could vary, so it is best to consult with one of our field engineers on the specifics of your project. Call Engineering at (509) 547-0556 for further assistance.
